The American Association for Emergency Psychiatry’ resource of resources. The AAEP Bibliography is an ongoing list of references and recommended readings within the field of emergency psychiatry. The AAEP Bibliography of Emergency Psychiatry, which had been prepared in 1990 by Randy Hilliard has since grown and expanded with the help of the AAEP Education Committee.

The bibliography can be viewed through this link. Please use the google search bar or view by section to locate the reference needed. As this is an active bibliography, we encourage everyone to submit as many articles, chapters, textbooks or other sources that you may deem relevant to the practice of emergency psychiatry. Send your references to or submit using the form provided on the page.
